Program Description
Friends of Children of Walla Walla offers an optional text messaging program for adult volunteers. Messages may include student attendance confirmations, scheduled lunch visit reminders, cancellations, school closures, volunteer scheduling updates, event invitations, and fundraising opportunities.
Consent
Volunteers may choose to receive operational notifications, event and fundraising communications, or both. Consent is collected through separate, optional selections on volunteer onboarding paperwork.
Participation is voluntary. Agreeing to receive promotional messages is not required to volunteer or receive attendance notifications.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies depending on scheduled volunteer visits, school calendars, organizational events, and fundraising activities. Message and data rates may apply.
How to Unsubscribe
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages. You may receive one final confirmation message. To update your communication preferences, contact the organization directly.
