Michelle Gwinn

Michelle Gwinn is a Behavior Coach and Intervention Specialist with the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) team in Walla Walla Public Schools. A lifelong Walla Walla resident, Michelle’s commitment to service began at age eight, volunteering with Camp Fire, and continued as she supported organizations such as BMAC and AmeriCorps. Her deep roots in the community shape her passion for supporting children and families.

In her professional role, Michelle partners with school teams to address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs. She provides direct coaching, behavior intervention support, and guidance on trauma-informed practices, while helping staff build skills that create safe, supportive learning environments. Michelle also contributes to data-driven planning and collaborative problem-solving to improve outcomes for students across the district.

Michelle is the mother of two daughters and enjoys spending time with them whenever she can. When she’s not with her family, she can often be found curled up with a good book or a movie—and one of her four cats.
