Jesse Trott

Jesse Trott joined Friends of Children of Walla Walla as Executive Director in the summer of 2026. She leads the organization’s day-to-day work, from fundraising and grant writing to community partnerships and operations. She works alongside the board and program staff to match more Walla Walla Valley kids with caring adult mentors.

Before Friends, Trott spent five years as Director of Hospitality at Alton Wines. There she ran the winery’s events and wine club, and got to know many of the people and businesses that make the Valley’s community what it is. That event work now carries over to Friends’ two signature gatherings, the End of Summer Supper and the Spring Breakfast.

Trott holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Portland State University and has spent years volunteering with outdoor and conservation groups. She believes that one steady, caring adult can change the course of a child’s life, and she’s excited to help Friends keep making that happen, one match at a time. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her outside camping and hiking with her dog.
