Alexis Blackmore
Alexis Blackmore was born and raised in Walla Walla, and graduated from Walla Walla Community College.
Blackmore has been working at Baker Boyer Bank, the oldest bank in Washington State, since she was 19 years old. Starting as a teller, she has worked hard and soaked in many different aspects of banking and is currently the Senior Cash Management Specialist. One of the favorite qualities about her career is how much Baker Boyer is involved with and loves to give back to the community.
Blackmore grew up with parents involved in many different community organizations, including Friends of Children of Walla Walla. Her mother was also very passionate about advocating for the Latino community, creating a youth group for at-risk youth in the 90’s. Blackmore witnessed first-hand how much impact positive role models can have in children’s lives. Blackmore spent a summer after high school graduation working for the City of Walla Walla in the Summer Parks & Recreation program, getting first-hand experience working with children in the valley.
Blackmore has been a member of the Friends of Children of Walla Walla’s Board since 2019, serving for two consecutive years as the Board secretary. She has also volunteered in the community with Baker Boyer, Blue Mountain Action Council, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She is a proud mother of two children, blessed with her new husband and three more “bonus” children. Life is busy, full, and beautiful!
